Child protection & safeguarding
Proposed framework document. This policy must be reviewed and formally adopted by the association's governing bodies before it is considered official.
Scope
This policy applies to any activity of the association that could involve children or young people under 18.
Respect and dignity
Every child has the right to be treated with respect in a safe environment, free from humiliation or undue pressure.
Protection from abuse
The association tolerates no form of physical, emotional or sexual abuse or neglect.
Responsible supervision
Minors take part only with written parental consent and under the constant supervision of responsible adults.
Photography and consent
Photos of minors are taken and published only with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Personal data
Data about minors is kept to a minimum and stored securely.
Reporting concerns
Any concern must be reported immediately to the association's leadership at +40 748 658 640 and, where appropriate, to the competent authorities (child protection services, police, Romanian child helpline 119).
