Proposed framework document. This policy must be reviewed and formally adopted by the association's governing bodies before it is considered official.

Principles
We process data lawfully, fairly and transparently, only for specified purposes and only as far as strictly necessary.

Security measures
Access to data is limited to people who need it for their duties. We use strong passwords and secure email services.

Data access
Data about members and enquirers is accessible only to the association's designated leadership.

Individual rights
Anyone can request access to, correction or erasure of their data at contact@hawaiianhorseheritage.org. We respond within 30 days.

Incidents
In case of a data breach we will act according to GDPR obligations, including notifying the authority where required.
