Governance
How a responsible sports association operates: a clear structure, documented decisions and accountability to its members.
Organizational structure
Under Romanian law for associations, the association's bodies are the General Assembly of members, the Board of Directors and, where applicable, the auditor or audit committee. Their exact powers are set by the statutes.
The President's responsibilities
The President represents the association towards third parties, chairs Board meetings and oversees the implementation of adopted decisions.
The Board's responsibilities
The Board implements the decisions of the General Assembly, approves activity plans and supervises the management of resources.
The Secretary's responsibilities
The Secretary keeps the records, prepares minutes and ensures decisions are properly archived.
Financial oversight
Resources are managed prudently, recorded accurately and reviewed periodically. Financial reports are presented to members and, where applicable, published in the Documents section.
Decision-making and accountability
Major decisions are taken collectively, documented and communicated. Members have the right to be informed and to ask for clarification.
